Ink is unmatched for finalizing line art. You can apply different thicknesses and textures with the right pen. However, "forgiving" is not my first choice of description. Any medium of ink can smear, splatter, and if you make a mistake it is near impossible to fix. But don't let this discourage you - pen and ink simply need a keen eye and steady hand to use well. If you are planning to draw something with ink, always do your outline in pencil first to finalize your design and avoid errors or do-overs.
Pen and Ink!!!!! I had this question in my Art Appreciation class so, it's definitely true.
Do you mean a drawing "pen?"
Try using the pen.
Drawing tablets, drawing pen tablets are a wonderful way to draw whether it is about any cartoon, architectural work, measurements, drawing or any other art related work.

a pen
Yes, drawing on yourself with a pen can potentially cause harm by introducing harmful chemicals into your skin or causing an allergic reaction. It can also lead to skin irritation or infection if the pen is not clean.
When using a white marker pen for drawing, shake the pen well before use, test it on a separate piece of paper first, apply multiple layers for opacity, and store the pen horizontally to prevent drying out.
