Is Spearow Metapod Bulbasaur and Pikachu a good beginning team?

Spearow and Metapod are pretty weak, even when you train them and improve their level. Caterpie > Metapod > Butterfree grows/ evolves pretty quickly but they are weaker pokemon. Bulbasaur and Pikachu are very strong when you increase their level.

Grass is weak to Flying. Since Bulbasaur is part Grass-type, it gets raped by Spearow, who is part Flying-type.
