Is it possible for a person to surgically have a tail or their ears surgically altered to fit those of animal ears like a cat?

Ear pointing has been around for over a decade, but still isn't overly common amongst the body modification community, simply due to the fact that it's not that aesthetically pleasing to look at, as the after results usually cannot be determined. The scar tissue may be a bit much, and they may look a little too "crunched" like a cauliflower ear at times. As far as tails go, Dennis Abner, better known as the "Catman" or "Cat" as he usually goes by, is the leading voice in this area as he has been trying to kick around ways of having an animatronic tail grafted to his spine, but the technology simply doesn't exist as of now.
