Re-piercing the same hole, especially with a big-bore needle, means there's a chance of running into some scar tissue. I'd have a pro do this instead of making a mess of it at home.

How do you sew up a hole in the middle of the seam of a cotton tshirt without making it look terribly bad?

Flip it inside out and over stitch the hole, flip it back and iron it. If you have a serger or a friend with a serger, using the seamline, start about an inch above the hole and serge down to about an inch below the hole. Try to run the extra threads at both ends back inside the new seam, using a blunt embriodery needle; or tie a knot close to the start/finish of the new seam.

How do you sew buttons on overcoat?

Get thread of the right colour, thread it onto a needle, tie a knot on the end of the thread to stop it slipping all the way through the fabric. Push the needle from the inside of the coat to the outside at the place where the button wants to go. Thread the button over the needle so it is sitting on the right place in the coat. push the needle back through the button and coat making sure you go through a different hole on the button so that the button is held onto the coat. Repeat these steps many times until the button is held firmly and looks like a normal button. With the needle on the inside of the coat do a few stitches through the bunch of thread in order to stop it coming undone then cut the thread. You now have a working button!

Do you have to have a big needle to get a big hole for your Monroe piercing?

Whenever you go in for a Monroe piercing, the piercer will take a needle, usually either a 18-16 gauge, and pierce your lip with that. It doesn't leave a big hole at all. But, if you want to gauge your Monroe, then you could have the piercer pierce with a bigger gauged needle, or just gauge it out yourself.
