There was a study that showed that people taking omeprazole were about 20% more likely to suffer a heart attack, but there was no proven causation. It was a data mining study and only shows the correlation. So... we just don't know. There are a lot of other things going on with people who take omeprazole that could have to do with increased risk of heart attack. The drug could be the cause, but it also could just be controlling symptoms for a group of people that are naturally more at risk.
