Well, I've been using it for over 50 years and my health is reasonable.
Would be nice to. Have an accurate and scientific answer. Your person experience is good, but everyone is different and with different cancer tolerances. Thank you.
Varsol, like any other paint thinner can damage the finish of a car. If a small amount of it is splashed on the surface, wiping it up intermediately will not result in much damage, a good polishing will return the clear coat to a satisfactory shine. If a large amount is poured on the surface and/or allowed to stand, the clear-coat will be irrecoverably be damaged. Varsol and other paint thinners are commonly used to thin the paint used to paint cars (usually after-market) with no adverse effects at all.
paint thinner is basically paint thinner
varsol... any hardware store
Yes you can use paint thinner to remove the paint on the wood. 2nd Answer: No, paint thinner will not remove paint from anything. Most paint is now water-based, anyway. Paint thinner does just what the names says: It thins oil based paint if the paint is too thick for some reason.
No, it won't work. Use regular paint thinner.
Varsol, oil thinner, turps, lacquer thinner, xylene, and many others.
Paint thinner, varsol, and mineral spirits are essentially the same. There are slight differences in the chemistry, but they are functionally equivalent.
