if you want to delete whilst memory card is in the camera, each camera is different - either dheck your users manual or ask about a specific camera or at least the brand and type of camera if you have a drive for the card on your computer you can delete by opening the drive from "my computer" and deleting from there - you can also try reformating the disc in the camera which normally erases all info
You cannot connect a DVR directly to the camera. You have to use a computer connected to the camera. And Configure the camera in the way it saves all data on the computer hard drive. After that you will have to configure the computer to save the data to the DVR after certain period of time.
This really depends on what kind of camera that you have. Some you need a USB cord that plugs into your USB drive, and it will assist you when you need to upload them. These instructions, again, depend on your camera and PC model. If you have a camera that uses a data chip, it would plug into the K drive of your computer, which is usually below the USB drive (it is on mine.) It would look like a thin, long plug that is on the side of your computer that would look like the side that you plug the chip into. Again, this depends on your PC, camera, and your method of uploading the pictures.
The virus is probably not in the camera but in the memory card. If your camera came with a USB cable, plug the camera in the computer using the USB cable and go to my computer. Right click on the correct drive and right click. Find Format... and click it. Then click start. Also another way is going to the camera settings and find the format button. (this doesn't always work) Also make sure there is nothing in the camera.
One factor can be if the camera has a built in hard drive that you can choose for it save to, and how big it is. I have a camera with a built in one with 30 GB (giga bytes) and has around 5,000 photos and still growing. Another one is, if you use your camera with a memory card instead of a hard drive. Memory cards come in various sizes and prices. For instance a 1GB xD Memory Card by Fuji Film costs around $20 USD +/- . The last factor that comes to mind, is how large the picture file is when it's saved to the memory card or hard drive. When you take a picture, the camera usually has two options for that picture to be saved as; JPEG or Raw. Raw files are huge and take up alot of space, thus decreasing how many photos can be stored on your camera. JPEG files are smaller and are more compatible with various programs and websites.
