Latex paint is rubberized....and it wants to stick to everything it comes in contact with, which is one of the beauties of paint. However, if you want to be able to peel paint off of something you have applied it to, just about the only way to achieve that would be to rub some Vaseline onto the surface in question. Baby powder will also work if you use enough of it.
Yes, there is spray paint made for rubber. I used it to make a bald cap. It was a white swimming cap and I spray painted it tan with spray paint made for rubber to make a bald cap! :)
It depends on the base of the paint. If it's an ordinary house paint, you should be able to peel it off.
You have to get rid of the peeling paint by scraping and then priming with oil based primer.
Jasco - it's a chemical used to remove paint. You could use a heat gun, but the aluminum will take a lot of heat before the paint starts to peel off.
So the paint will stick and not peel off later.
I'll know after I try it!! Might be cheaper to purchase a new bottle of rubber cement!

I suppose you could use paint stipper from a hardware store, but I would recommend using a high pressure hose. It will peel the paint right off.

Just pick at the edges with your nails, and it should peel off.
Try to peel it off after it drys. If you are lucky it will only take the paint off with it. If it is stuck to the paper, you will have to repair the drywall.
