In my experience, it's probably the best decision I've ever made to get Weapon-R over Apex, Injen, and K&N. It made a significant difference in horsepower and torque compared to the other intakes. I suggest you get a polish-finished aluminum intake tube with a ram. You could get one on eBay for probably a littler under 200 bucks that'll include the dragon air filter, aluminum intake tube, and adjustable ram with instructions and things you need to put it together. Try it for yourself, you'll be surprised on your car's performance and hp afterwards. The only problem is that it may not be street legal in states such as California. Why do you think they only sell brands such as K&N and Spectre? Weapon-R is made for performance.
Because the bov requires pressure in the intake system to work, this pressure comes from the turbo, no turbo on your car no pressure in your intake system to work one.
ReveMoto.com sells painted auto body parts. Really affordable.
The oil filter is located under the intake manifold, sideways.. if looking at front of car its on left side just behind the intake... It is on the driver's side. You get to it inside the engine compartment, not from underneath the car.
It's the air intake housing which usually starts near the front of the car and goes back to the top of the engine. The whole unit is the intake, specifically the air filter is held by the air filter housing.
fuel pump, timing belt, air intake (sensor), fuse, distributor...
Not really.
You can test a car intake system by taking the vehicle to the shop and getting service for the intake system. They would have to put the car on a machine and use their testers.
Intake or inlet manifold has nothing to do with the heating of the car. Newaz.
Breezers were really poupular.
It is not really practical by car. It's a long way
the intake manifold is what takes air coming from the intake and directs it to each intake valve in each cylinder
Yes
brandishing a weapon will result in having the cops called. you may only use a weapon in self defense and getting your car repo'ed is not putting your life in danger.
Yes. The best way to do it is to feed the air coming off the turbo into the intake of the supercharger. Then off the supercharger into the intake. You can have one or more intecoolers. This setup is called Twincharged
Its best to take the tubing off to get a clear shot to the intake. Also be warned if you have someone helping you start the car dont stand too close to the intake because I have seen a burst of flames come out a few times
On top of the engine, there should be an intake snorkel. It holds the air filter. You can change the air temperature by removing or lengthening the snorkel. For best results you need to run the intake to the front of the car, before the radiator. That would give the engine access to the coldest air and the best chance for efficiency.
We really cannot answer this, because there is no ONE best for everything. A .357 revolver may be a great defensive firearm, but is pretty useless for pheasant hunting. The shotgun that is great for pheasants is useless at 900 yards as a military weapon. There are many different guns, by different makers, for different uses. Sort of like the best car, best flavor ice cream, best movie, or best song.
