Thermostat stuck open, heater core clogged, or the heater temperture control vlalve is defective.
A 1000 watt generator cannot run a 1500 watt ceramic heater without having problems.

It depends on which solenoid you mean. The STARTERsolenoid is integral to the starter.

This frequently happens when the heater coil is going bad.
If the temperature gauge is reading below normal operating temp after driving a little while it may be that your thermostat is stuck open. I replaced my thermostat and it fixed mine.
hello this is what you have to do you have to take the dash all the way out of your truck and take the heater box out and then put it all back to together
They are screewed into the exhaust pipe / pipes and there is 4 of them on that truck. They are about 3 to 4 inches long with a electrical connecter hooked to them.
I have a 2002 Chevy SilerRado 1500 Pick up Truck, 2 wheel drive. My broblem is with the heater not coming on. I checked the fuse Box on the drivers side of the dash board label HTR/COOLING. The fuse was ok. I would like to know how to locate the Heater Core and replace it if possible. I haven't checked the thermostat. thanks in advance
