Most likely there are many. One that I know of is Burnett. I have been looking for information about a painitng like this. It seems that Mexico and China make lots of reproductions of this type of painting.

The painting is done by a 3rd party, NOT the U.S. Mint. As such, alterations remove any collector value. Painted U.S. Silver Eagles are currently worth $19.64 for the silver, as of 14 December 2013.

Monet painted things that were around him. He wasn't trying to 'say' anything. He was simply painting his wife and son walking along in the blooming poppies. This was long before the Poppy was a symbol of war.
'This painting' must be 'The Scream'. It happened in Oslo.

Props are painted with "flat black" paint to eliminate possible refliction and temporarily blinding of the pilot. With the prop spinning it is virtually invisible. But therein lies a problem, the possible hazard of a ground crew walking into the spinning prop (think that fight scene out of Indiana Jones movie) that is why most prop tips are painted (usually yellow or white). This tipping is very visable compared to the rest of the prop. Also, and popular during WWII was painting the center cap, same effect of grabbing attention.
