I think you may mean the Ice Age. At one point in one of the Ice Ages, the Earth was almost covered by ice/glaciers.
Possibly in Iceland.
Glacier Erosion

Approximately 75% of the Earth's surface is covered by water.
Because its mostly water.... water is blue
2/3 of the earth is covered by glaciers
Glaciers cover nearly 10% of Earth's land surface.
Normally called a glacier.
A glacier can not do any damage to earth and it depends on the size of the glacier if it is huge it may flood
The previous answer was incorrect. NOW the Earth's surface is covered with ice, but during the most recent ice age, NEARLY 30% of the Earth was covered by ice!I'm a little bold
Ice Age
Antarctica is a land mass that covers 10% of the earth's surface. It is covered -- 98% -- by an ice sheet.
About 10.4% of the worlds land surface is glacier. That is way lower than we should have. Stop polluting, littering, and being bad for our Earth!ilovecatz1234
When the glacier is formed the ice scratches the land. When the glacier recedes the ice will scar the earth. This is called glacial scarring.
All of Antarctica is covered with an ice sheet, which represents 90% of the earth's store of ice. The list of glaciers includes hundreds of names from the Aagaard Glacier to the Zykov Glacier with the Beardmore and the Recovery in between.
Ice caps can be found at the Earth's poles, specifically at the North Pole and the South Pole. These regions are covered in ice and snow throughout the year, forming large ice caps that contribute significantly to the Earth's climate and ecosystem.
The last period when glaciers covered most of the earth was the Pleistocene Epoch, which lasted from about 2.6 million to 11,700 years ago. This era is often referred to as the "Ice Age" due to the extensive ice sheets that existed during this time.
