Reed Valves.
Check the reed valves 1 is probley broken if it is baackfiring thru the carburetor.
it could be bad reed valves or might need a carb rebuild. im haveing the same problems wiht my ski and i took the carb apart to check the diaphrams and jets then i took out the reed valves and 3 out of 8 were lifted so i orderd new ones. you might wanna start with all your fule line hoses and make sure there not clooged and also check your fule filter for dirt aswell. if all that's good then start with your reed valves take them out and check them out"they should all be flat on housing and not bent up or cracked/chiped ect. if those are good then check the next thing your carb.... good luck and let me know....
yes
Yes, a reed valve can affect compression on a Ski Doo MX 800 HO. If the reed valves are damaged or not sealing properly, it can lead to a loss of compression in the engine, resulting in decreased performance and efficiency. Properly functioning reed valves ensure that the air-fuel mixture enters the combustion chamber effectively, maintaining optimal compression and engine performance. Regular maintenance and inspection of the reed valves are essential for the overall health of the engine.
There are no valves on a 2 stroke, instead the job is done by a reed valve(s) which controls air flow rates. Reeds are not adjustable, however in most cases are very affordable and simple to replace. Don't forget to replace the reed cage gasket as well.
Check the reed.
A CR 125 does not have a timing chain. It is a two stroke which operates with reed valves.
you don`t its a two stroke as long as the key is in the flywheel that's it you don`t have valves like a 4 stroke you have reed valves which don`t get timed with the crank
if it smokes when you first start it, or sometimes if it has a tic tic in the top end intill it warms up
The trombone is the only instrument in the brass section with no keys or valves. It only has a slide.
