The liver receives blood from two sources: Oxygenated blood is supplied in the hepatic artery, a branch of the celiac artery from the abdominal aorta; and venous blood from the entire gastrointestinal tract is brought to the liver by the hepatic portal vein.
The blood leaves the liver via a central vein in each lobule, which drains in the hepatic vein.
The hepatic artery in the liver enters from the bottom and is much smaller in diameter than the aorta or the portal vein that it lies above. The hepatic vein exits the liver from the top, carries blood through the top portion of the liver, and is larger in diameter than the hepatic artery.
The left & right vertebral arteries.
Its actually called the atrium.Aorta
The liver, pancreas, and part of the stomach and small intestine.
The kidney receives blood through two renal arteries. One artery supplies blood to left kidney while the other supplies blood to the right kidney. Within the kidney, each artery branches out into arterioles and finally the afferent arterioles.
from hepatic portal vein and hepatic artery
The proper hepatic artery supplies the liver and gall bladder
The celiac artery serves the liver by providing oxygenated blood to the liver. The celiac artery supplies this same blood to the stomach, esophagus, spleen, the duodenum and pancreas.
Posterior communicating artery carries blood to "posterior cerebral artery".during embryonic life : it receives blood from "internal carotid artery"later, in most adults : it receives blood from "basilar artery"
the liver and spleen
The right side of the heart receives blood from the right coronary artery and the posterior descending artery.
The right atrium and ventricle receives blood from the right coronary artery. This blood supply is specific to the heart and is received from the coronary arteries.
It receives blood from two (2) sourcesThe Hepatic Artery- it delivers oxygenated blood from the general circulationThe Hepatic Portal Vein-it carries deoxygenated blood containing nutrients from the small intestine.
The celiac artery supplies blood to the stomach. The celiac artery is the first main branch of the aortic artery.
