Is coloring or drawing pictures haram please help?
I think coloring a picture is ok (not sure though), but drawing pictures like faces and animals (basically anything that's living) is haram, but i don't think that drawing things like buildings ,clouds, trees etc is haram :) Hope that helped

drawing is basicly the art of a pencil, or some solid substance, painting is liquid, and both can be very different, but they both are baiscly the same, they are art both can easily become a passion for any artist. one person could become a master of any of those things but for the painter, an opinion of a pencil is a training period, for the sketcker painting is easy to mess up and just going with the flow of everything, trying to find color schmes and all. in my opinion drawing is the feel of art the trunk of the tree, the base of all art. painting is the flowing branches flaying out in different directions, so... drawing-the base of art painting-the definition of spontanious flow of colors and shapes
