Why did big bang theory take place?

It didn't actually take place as such. As we humans try to understand the world around us down to the smallest parts, we also try to understand and explain the larger scopes of it all. The big bang theory were created in order to understand how the universe came to be. We do not know if this theory is correct, but we do have indications that would suggest such an event being the beginning of everything. As of today it is mans best 'guess' regarding the origin of the universe.

Can science answer the question as to whether God exists?

yes science says that everything with a beginning has to have a cause right? so, since the universe is NOT eternal because there are still radioactive elements in the universe, the universe must have a beginning. so what caused it? the most popular theory is the big bang theory. there are two versions that i always hear: the "out of absolutely nothing" version and the version that says that before the big bang the universe was an unimaginably small and hot sphere of well, basically a mini universe. both of these theories are full of holes. nothing cant create something and where did the mini-universe come from in the first place? science also says that energy is eternal, so before the universe came to be that energy was god. god is supposed to be an infinite god right? so it would make sense that god could create the universe. these two scientific truths are enough to prove god, it may be hard to understand, but it makes complete sense. this combined with all the other proof that i cant fit onto one page. i'd say irrefutably proves god exists.
