I have had 18 treatments and my tattoo has not been completely removed, but it is barley noticeable.

I have been getting treatments from a medlite C6 laser at Rethink Your Ink in Calgary, Canada.

I have a blog of all the before and after pictures of each treatment, and also a video of one of the sessions at http://www.tattooremovalcalgary.com

If you use the laser removal method it would take 1 to 10 sessions. If you use removal cream you would have to apply it twice a day for at least six months.

How much does tattoo removeal cost?

Average laser tattoo removal costs between $200 - $500 a session. Tattoos can take up to 20 sessions to be removed completely based on a number of factors such as size, and color. Other options are less effective in that they leave behind a scar or heavily discolored patch as well as being incredibly painful. These options include dermabrasion, where the skin is literally sanded away until the tattoo is no longer visible, and surgical excision, where the tattoo is surgically cut away and then the remaining skin is sewn back together. It may be less expensive, and simpler to have the tattoo "covered" with another tattoo.

How much does laser tattoo removal cost?

Most laser tattoo removal is done by a dermatologist who more or less sizes up how much he can get you to pay and that's how much he's going to charge you. Updated Answer: Laser tattoo removal can become very expensive. Often as much as 10-20 successive treatments may be necessary to treat most tattoos. Also, laser light is not effective on all ink pigments and certain exotic hues, not to mention the health risks associated with laser tattoo removal. I suggest you read more about The Dangers of Laser Tattoo Removal at the link below before you consider such a procedure.

Is here any safe way to remove a tattoo?

Even with laser removal a tattoo doesn't tend to completely disappear, it only fades. Sunlight, tanning beds, chlorine water and tattoo removal creams can fade the tattoos. However, home remedies that are suggested, often including salt, are not considered safe and can cause a lot of damage to your skin.

Is there a tattoo removal by needle injection?

Yes, there is a tattoo removal method that involves needle injection. This method is called tattoo removal by saline injection or Saline Solution Tattoo Removal. In this process, a dermatologist injects a saline solution into the skin to break down the tattoo ink. The saline solution draws the ink to the surface of the skin, where it forms a scab that falls off after a few weeks. This process may take several sessions to achieve the desired results, and it may cause some discomfort during the procedure and while the skin heals. While tattoo removal by needle injection is an option, it is not considered the most effective or efficient method for tattoo removal. Laser tattoo removal is the gold standard for tattoo removal in Delhi and around the world. With the help of a top dermatologist in Delhi, such as Dr Sweksha Dermatology, patients can achieve clear and smooth skin, free from unwanted tattoos, through laser tattoo removal.

Is a rash normal after laser tattoo removal?

While it is normal for many people to have a reaction after tattoo removal (I assume you're referring to laser tattoo removal and not some other process), any skin issue appearing after either a tattoo, body piercing, or tattoo removal, warrants a trip to the doctor to rule out more serious issues like infection. Remember that laser tattoo removal works on the ink, not the skin. However, higher heat lasers can cause rashes and blistering on the upper layer of skin from prolonged exposure.
