The Daughters of Liberty was a group of colonial American women formed in the 1760s to protest British rule and support the American Revolution. One of the most notable figures among them was Abigail Adams, who actively advocated for women's rights and encouraged her husband, John Adams, to consider women's interests in the new government. Other prominent members included Mercy Otis Warren and Martha Washington, who contributed to the cause through boycotts and organizing support for the troops. Overall, the Daughters of Liberty played a crucial role in mobilizing women and fostering patriotism during the revolutionary period.

Martha Washington was a first lady because her husband (George Washington) was the first president of The United States and in our history books it said she was supposed to entertain people and host.
Is there a $1 gold coin with George Washington on one side and the Statue of Liberty on the other. Does that exist?
I am not sure what is meant by "true love". Washington courted other women before he married Martha and may have proposed to some of them, but after marrying Martha there is no evidence that either was anything but true to one another or that he "carried a torch " for someone else.
George Washington did not have any children with his wife but he did have two step children from Martha's previous marriage, 1 boy and 1 girl. But he did adopt them through his marriage with his wife. The boy was named John Parke 'Jackie' Custis, and he was the older one. And the girl's name was Martha Parke 'Patsy' Custis. Jackie died around the age 27 (1781). Patsy died around the age of 17 (1773) from seizures.
