Was there an earthquake in the Bronx in 1980?

I do recall an earthquake sometime between 1985-1988, in the middle of the night/earlier morning. The next day there we aftershock tremors.

Back in the 1980's, we awoke (in Livingston Manor, Sullivan County, New York) in the early morning hours to our bed moving

south/north/south/north/south/and half way to the north direction (moving the bed a number of inches in the process. I had never been in an earthquake before, and according the news reports, it's epicenter was near the INDIAN POINT nuclear power plant in Ossining, New York.

Months later (it was either a Palm Sunday or Easter Sunday) evening, my former husband was going from our home up to his shop (about 1,000 feet from the house) and he took the dog with him, and on his way up to the shop I heard this whirling sound. (Immediately, I thought, not another earthquake). He got to his shop, called me and told me he heard it too, and it was weird.

Minutes later, he called on the telephone and he had heard on the local radio stations that there had been an earthquake. The next day, the news stated it was an epicenter somewhere in "upstate New York" near the Adirondacks, I believe.

Then, I experienced my third earthquake (again on either Palm Sunday morning, or Easter) had the earthquake near Goshen, a number of years ago (2003?)...
