In the Great Rift Valley, the first human skull was found.
A:Exodus 14:23-28 says that the pursuing Egyptians followed the Israelites across the Red Sea, whereupon God took off all their chariot wheels. Moses then stretched out his hand across the sea and the waters returned, engulfing the Egyptians and killing every single one of them. If the story had any historical basis, it would then be possible to accurately date this event from the Egyptian records of the death of the pharaoh. Unfortunately, every pharaoh of the Late Bronze Age is accounted for, dying in different circumstances and buried with due ceremony in the Valley of the Kings. This is consistent with the scholarly view that there really was no biblical Exodus and therefore no miraculous crossing of the Red Sea.
