Rembrandt was born in July 15, 1606 and died October 4, 1669. He liked to draw self portraits of himself, as well as other various face portraits. He was said to be "The greatest artist in the Dutch Republic". Some of his greatest pieces of art were carved into history, those drawings were like, The Dane, Jacob de Gheyn III, Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolas, and Night Watch. There still remain other portraits that have made a huge change in history, and some were made by other artists. Most of there famed drawings are being held in museums, so that tourists see what the history of drawing has developed into.
