first of all your all like, " I'm a preacher and i would like to know all of your feeling so i can make you happier"
but column's, you see those all over like street lights and in front people's houses
Roman architecture and engineering examples are all around us. First is the use of concrete. It's hard to imagine a modern city without sidewalks, streets, and sewers--all made of concrete. Then there is the water system. Roman aqueducts carried water to cities but before the water was dispersed, it was usually sent to holding tanks and then sent out as needed. We have our modern water pipes and many towns have water towers for storage. The Romans gave us the dome which we can see in many of our churches and public buildings, our nations' capitol and many state capitols are domed. Next comes the arch. Most bridges are of the arched variety and all city viaducts are a version of the arch. The Romans can be thanked for giving us pillars, not only for decorative purposes, but for supports for our underground parking garages. Next comes the atrium. Modern public buildings use this architechural structure for their lobbies or waiting rooms or reception areas.
The Romans changed enginnering as well as architecture. They were the greatest builders of roads, bridges, and aqueducts in the ancient world.
actual presence of those stones was entirely different than the books.
Ancient architecture was limited by the building materials available, while modern architecture is limited by the imagination of the architect.
Marco Antonio
1.Modern architecture has no boundation that's why we can design any type of building in modern architectue. 2.We can use a variety of materials now , according to our need. 3.We can use history knowledge , for designing new structures.
Depending on the type modern architecture can utilize both past, present and future technologies and design. A major distinction between the two are the future architecture increasingly focuses on function such as energy conservation and earthquake resistance and then combining them with aesthetics.
Roman arch architecture and engineering have inflected modern life through the use of arches to build bridge until the late 19th century. These bridges were important for the develop-met of the railways systems of that century and in some places are still used today.
