The columns
Tuscan, Doric, Ionic, Corinthian and composite are the 5 orders of architecture.
Executive Orders are generally orders from the President of the United States to staff of the executive branch and not to citizens. Article I, Section 1 of the U. S. Constitution specifically reserves all federal legislative authority to Congress, not the president.
The Ancient Roman culture was all about extravagances, pompous and always a need to impress the masses through celebrations, festivities and other means of entertainment. Surely they used architecture as a mean of showing their message of their high glory. They adopted a lot of Greek architecture including that of the column orders such as the Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian. They also took a lot of influences of the East by using and improving arches which is clearing seen in the Colosseum in Rome. Which also made it possible for them to use arches in constructing large public buildings, something the Greeks wouldn't have been able to do with just their post and lintel system. Also unlike the Greeks, where the columns where used as a support system for their structures, the columns in the Colosseum is used for decorative purposes. The ancient empire of Romans also boasted on their engineering abilities which enhanced the roman architecture because in many circumstanced they constructed aqueducts to supply fresh water to many surrounding cities. Also unlike the Greeks before them, the Romans used architecture as a means of provoking amazement and accomplishment in the viewers, whereas the Greeks elaborated on the beauty of proportions and simplicity. It shall also be mention the architectural feat of creating a dome, which consists of multiple arches combined. This also made it possible to have an ample and dramatic space without having any other type of supports such as the column. One amazing example of this is the Pantheon where it's size hadn't been surpassed until the 20th century. Also an important feature of the Pantheon is it's use of concrete where it could withstand the test of time oppose to the Greeks method of pure marble.

The columns
During the Republican period Roman sculpture was realistic portraiture sculpture (busts). These were busts of prominent people which detailed the signs of age. Age and its wisdom were seen as the hallmarks of statesmanship. With rule by emperors, the emperors favoured idealised full body statues modelled on Greek Hellenistic sculptures which depicted Hellenistic rulers as youthful. The vigour of youth was now seen as a mark of statesmanship. The Romans also started reproducing the sculpture of mythological themes or of gods of Greek sculptors, both classical and Hellenistic, and modelling their own on these. The Romans also adopted the architectural orders of the Greeks (Doric, Ionic and Corinthian) for columns and used them for their temples and porticoes which were modelled in their whole structure on those of the Greeks. They also developed composite orders which combined elements of two orders. This, as well as the development in sculpture, has led to the coining of the term Greco-Roman art. However, it has to be noted that for other buildings the Romans developed their own architectural system based on their extensive use of the arch and the vault, which the Greeks hardly used. If arches and vaults involved the use of columns, they used their mentioned orders. The Romans were also masters of mosaic and fresco art. They also produced excellent jewellery, silverware and pottery.

The Corinthian Order, a type of architectural column used to support a roof originated in Greece in the 4'th century BC. The Doric and Ionic columns originated a few hundred years earlier in the 7'th century BC. These were the three principle distinct column types, or orders, of the ancient Greeks.
facts
Initial Orders was the first assembler. It was developed for the EDSAC in 1949.
All US military orders look the same. They simply say ORDERS on them.
With regard to temples, the Romans built them in the style of the Greeks. They adopted the three orders (styles) for making columns, which they sued for their temples and porticoes: Dorian, Ionian and Corinthian. They also developed the composite style, which combined elements of two orders. Apart from the above, Roman architecture was essentially Roman. The Romans effected what historians called the Roman architectural revolution. This was based on (Roman) concrete and the first large scale use of monumental barrel (or simple) arches and the vaulted arch (or vault). Concrete provided a tough, durable and cheaper material. The arch has a great load bearing capacity and the vault is suited to sustain large roofs. These elements enabled the Romans to go beyond the post-and-lintel method of enclosing space of the Greeks. It made the construction of such a gigantic structure as the Colosseum possible. The arch was also used for bridge construction and enabled the Romans to build much longer bridges.
