You are able to start with any of the three Keyblade wielders; Terra, Aqua, or Ventus.
Each character has their own unique storyline, allowing the player to fully understand the story as a whole. Once the all three stories are completed, however, a new option is available, allowing the player to see the true ending. This mode involves the role of Aqua, but is only playable with the completion of each character's respective storyline.
