I do not know. The question is asked because the Last Supper depicts John as looking feminine rather than masculine. Also, he has no facial hair and his body image looks more feminine. I understand young men during this period were often depicted this way in art. So, how old was he at the time? Do biblical scholars know. Thanks.

∙ 11y agoWhen answering this type of question, the reader must realize that in the Jewish calendar, like in Genesis, sunset begins a new day. As some have dated Jesus' Crucifixion to Wednesday, Passover (daylight portion), April 25, 31AD in the 9th hour or 3PM our time, then the Passover Meal referred to as the Last Supper would have taken place in the night portion of that day. On our calendar, that would have been Tuesday evening.
Others follow the Jewish calendar and date the Last Supper on Nissan 13, 33 AD. The Jehovah's Witnesses still hold this memorial each year on Nissan 13, no matter the day of the week.
