Amelia Earheart was the first woman to fly over the U.S.A
yes
In the very late nineties or around 2000. The death received little publicity. she died in Connecticut. Her name was Muriel Earhart Morrissey. She wrote two books about her (Courageous sister).
It did not make any significant change in that. Aircraft were evolving and changing every month.
Amelia Josephine Harres and Mary Wells Patton were Amelia Earhart's two grandmothers.
Amelia Earhart
yes
Amelia was admired for her dedication and perserverance. R.I.P Amelia :(
She was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. And then she flew a short time later and never came back.
Amelia Earhart was an aviator, not a runner. I can't say with absolute certainty that she never ran a cross country race, but I do know that during the time she lived, running was considered unsafe for women, and it was extremely uncommon for them to compete in races of any sort.
Amelia Earhart's sister, Muriel Earhart, was also known for her involvement in aviation, but she did not achieve the same level of fame as Amelia. Amelia's ancestors were also notable figures in American history, including her grandfather who was a former judge and her great-grandfather who was a congressman.
When Amelia Eahart finally married Gorge Putnam, that was here third purposed. her first one was from her life boyfriend, he asked her twice. Next, after she refused both of those purposes, she ended up marrying her manager, Gorge Putnam. They were both madly in love. One day, Amelia ask gorge, if she could fly over the world. Of course he said yes!

I don't believe Amelia Earhart ever changed her name. Even when she married George Putnam she insisted on still being called Amelia Earhart
by flying across the Atlantic ocean
she proved women could do anything!! -Jada
