He did not seem to be very interested in architecture.

He was a sculptor, architect and engineer. He also painted some of the world's greatest art and occupies a supreme place as an artist. He also had a wide understanding far beyond his time of science including Biology, physiology, and hydrodynamics, aeronautics and his notebooks contain original remarks on all of these.

Leonardo da vinci began to sketch various parts of the body, one of his notable ones The Vitruvian Man, which his handwriting translates into precise measurements of each outer body part, which proves his mathematical genius. His sketches of the heart and other parts of the body are very detailed.
