Why did they have the Lord's Supper?

It was the Feast of the Passover, a traditional gathering with food. Jesus used the symbolism as He became Our Passover - a blood sacrifice that could and does forgive sin and the guilt of it.

Some people were invited into other people's homes to celebrate the feast. Jesus sent some of His disciples to find a suitable place for their Passover meal. The upper room is the place they found.
