Christians are divided between; From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Old Earth creationism is a variant of the creationist view of the origin of the universe and life on Earth. As a theory of origins it is typically more compatible with mainstream scientific thought on the issues of geology, cosmology and the age of the Earth, in comparison to Young Earth creationism. However, it still generally takes the accounts of creation in Genesis more literally than theistic evolution (or evolutionary creationism).
Old Earth creationism is in fact an umbrella term for a number of perspectives, including Gap creationism and Progressive creationism. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Young Earth creationism is the religious belief that the Earth and life on Earth were created by a direct act of God dating between 6,000 and 10,000 years ago. Its adherents are Christians, Muslims or Jews who believe that God created the Earth in six 24-hour days, taking the Hebrew text of Genesis as a literal account.

Always? No. Some people thought the Earth was a disk held up by four elephants on the back of a giant turtle (a motiv adpoted by a popular science-fiction/fantasy series). Aristarchos of Samos published the first heliocentric model, but it was centuries before the so-called Copernican theory was generally accepted.
Christians are known for the hate of this theory. *Humans come from monkeys* does not equal *God created Adam and Eve* (People are welcome to improve my quick answer)
Flat earth believers are almost exclusively motivated by religion or by conspiracy theory beliefs.
Liberal Christians do not spend a lot of time thinking about death; they believe that Christians need to be carrying out God's work here on earth among the oppressed.
well most Christians do not think that humans evolved from apes because in the bible it says that god created humans from himself.
Christians and Jews believe the version of Creation as shown in first chapter of the Bible in a book called Genesis. They believe God created the heavens, the earth, land, water, animals and sea creatures and human beings. They do not accept the Darwin Theory or the Big Bang theory. Next, Christians are not humanists. Humanism is not part of Christianity or Judaism. It is an entirely different philosophy and belief system. To see the creation story in the Bible open up to the first page of Genesis and start reading. It is fascinating. Pegalita, Master of Divinity
I don't know, perhaps it was a Zen Buddhist. Seriously though, I think there's a mistake in the question.
The extrinsic catastrophist theory of comets suggests that comets originate from outside the solar system and are responsible for catastrophic events on Earth, such as mass extinctions. This theory proposes that comets carry organic materials that may have influenced the development of life on Earth.
some christians would think that littering is harming gods planet and disrespecting god
Christians have varying beliefs about the age of the world. Some believe in a young Earth theory, dating it to a few thousand years old based on a literal interpretation of the Bible. Others accept scientific evidence pointing to an Earth that is billions of years old. Ultimately, beliefs about the age of the world can differ among individuals and denominations within Christianity.
Aristotle first thought that the Earth was the center of the solar system. Ptolemy was the second one to think of the theory.
