Rather as they've looked for the past 150 years: a box with a hole in it and a place for a light-sensitive medium. New cameras tend to be smaller and flatter, because they no longer need a place for film, and they have more controls. A person from the 1920's would recognize them for what they are, though.

I prefer film cameras to digital cameras. The pictures look better.
To take photos. Take your friends picture and when you guys separate to your own ways you can look back and see what your friends looked like or, look at when you were younger it can fill you up with nostalgic. You can capture and keep special moments in your head, take pictures of amazing things like mountains, and other stuff. Lastly, you use them to keep you memory from fading, you can look back and remember the good old days when you were little.
At most intersections, you will see little cameras at the top of the light. They look like little tubes. These are not red light traffic cameras. They are sensors used by the traffic light to control whether its a green light or red light. Actual red light cameras are usually bigger and are placed on the curb on its own pole. They usually have a flashlight to take pictures. They flash at night when taking pictures.
Depends on the encoding and quality of the video files from the cameras. If its webcams for instance you would probably only need a few terrabytes..

Camaras of the 1900's took pictures, just like camaras now a days do! i think its obious what they do/did.
Digital Cameras look almost like Film Cameras, only Digital Cameras are more "Computerized" and don't use film. Digital Cameras have an Addition from Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO, they have Mega Pixels which tell you what quality the photos come out as. Lower MP say 1.2MP is mostly used in cheaper Digital Cameras or web cameras, more expensive cameras can go up to 12.5MP or more, Digital Cameras also have an LCD Display so you can view photos instantly. The difference between Film and Digital is that with film once you take a photo its permanent on the film, Digital Cameras enable you to reuse the Memory card since you are able to delete photos.
