He was aphenomenal painter. He painted The Mona Lisa and the Last Supper. Sadly, he had a hard time finishing his projects. He would get an idea while in the middle of one project then move on to do his idea. He had long hair and a long beard. Leonardo had an arch enemy. Any guesses? It was Michelangelo. Michelangelo didn't care very much for other people. He didn't like to be around people. He got mad at the head of the Sistine Chapel. The head of the Sistine Chapel made Michelangelo paint the ceiling of the church. Michelangelo also didn't bathe very often, making him very smelly and making people stay away from him. Leonardo dissected a human to see what was inside a humans body. This was so he could make his paintings look more like flesh and blood than pale white, boneless skin. Leonardo's drawings of human corpses are still used today by medical doctors all over the world. Leonardo was also an engineer. He designed a helicopter, a tank made out of heavy wooden beams to protect men and cannons, a bicycle which looks almost identical to the modern day bicycles. People call him a "renaissance man".
