Science is more like reason. Anything you can possible question about life comes under science.
Art as a science is pretty much when you get like a bachelors degree as.. whatever and it'll say that you majored in Art with applied science or something like that. You simply use psychology with your art classes. at first when I saw that I got confused but yeah that's what that is.
Most, if not all, schools in the US require science courses to be taken during highschool. Different schools and districs have different policies of which classes you HAVE to take. Some may require you to take specific science courses or may count classes like welding or other science/technical related elective towards those required science courses.
Because it has tube-like structures(like a stem) This is 100% right because i got it straight out of my science book.
