Hey
All you need to do is use some waterproof abrasive paper (also know as wet and dry paper) and in essence sand down the edges equally to get a nice finish.
now the technique to the best finish is to use the wet and dry paper on the edges when it is dry until the edge feels smooth but maybe has a few more scratches you can't feel much but can see. Once you've done that, get the paper wet and repeat the sanding movements till the edge is very smooth. If you have a buffing or polishing machine you can use that on the edges too but look up the safety online as I'm not very well acquainted with the machine.
Sincerely
James
Yes, you can laser cut acrylic, and it is a popular material for this process due to its clean edges and ability to be cut with precision. When laser cutting acrylic, the laser melts the material rather than burning it, resulting in smooth, polished edges. It's important to use the correct settings for the thickness of the acrylic to achieve optimal results. Additionally, venting during the process is essential to manage fumes produced by the melting acrylic.
To make a trophy with acrylic, first, design the trophy shape using a computer software and then use a laser cutter to precisely cut the acrylic sheets according to your design. Assemble the pieces using acrylic adhesive for a strong bond. You can also add engraving or printed graphics for personalization. Finally, finish the edges to ensure a smooth and professional look.
beacuse with wood stains dont come out but with acrylic (plastic) can rub of juices really easy
If you are painting lettering directly to the plastic, there are single part epoxies that are available, some suitable for outdoor use, that would adhere to plastic without having to use a primer. If you are going to paint the background a solid color, you can use a special primer, formulated to adhere to plastic, then paint it with an acrylic paint which can then be coated with the same type of acrylic paint for any lettering and design.
If it has dried, use mineral oil. This will leave a greasy stain in the carpet, so then use a degreaser...but the mineral oil will break up the plastic and get it out of the carpet.
You should use a special type of glue called acrylic cement or solvent cement for bonding acrylic plastic.

1. You use a Laser Cutter to cut the acrylic plastic out. 2. You use a Strip heater to bend the acrylic 3. You use 2D Design V2 to design the vase

You can use acrylic paint on plastic provided you prepare the surface first. Before you begin painting you will have to prime it with paint that is suitable for plastic, such as an enamel paint. Once you have finished painting with the acrylic paint, the project will need a top coat.

For painting plastic surfaces, it is recommended to use acrylic paint specifically designed for use on plastics.
To make guitar picks from plastic, you can use a template to trace and cut out the shape of the pick from a plastic material like old credit cards or plastic lids. Sand the edges to smooth them out and refine the shape. You can also experiment with different thicknesses and types of plastic to find the sound and feel that you prefer for playing the guitar.
To effectively polish glass edges, you can use a fine-grit sandpaper to smooth out any rough edges, followed by a polishing compound and a soft cloth to buff the edges to a smooth and shiny finish.
