What does BOLTSS stand for?

BOLTSS is the name given to essential parts of a map that are often not included in or on the map.B: Border - To show the edges of the map. The limits of the area covered by the map. There is usually (but not always) an overlap of the borders of adjoining maps of the same series.O: Orientation - To show which way is north, usually directed with a compass An indication of north, usually by an arrow pointing to the top of the map. If there is no arrow the top of the map is assumed to be north. The name of the map identifying the geographic area that it covers.S: Scale - To give the reader an idea of the distances shown on the map. The 1st way is by words, the 2nd way is by ratio and the last way is linear.S: Source - To provide the source of the information on which the map has been based.

Can you put an aftermarket supercharger on your 99 Pontiac Gt 3800 series 2 engine?

NO the heads are made slightly diffrent the bolt patterns will not match up. Rather than aftermarket what you can do is purchase the parts for an L67 (3.8 supercharged) and put them on your L36 (3.8 non supercharged). It's not really simple like some people think but it's definitely doable (many people have gone down this road). The following is a list of everything you will need:M90 SuperchargerL67 idler pullies (there's two of them)L67 belt tensionerL67 throttle body33# injectorsL67 crank pulleyL67 MAP sensorL67 headsL67 LIML67 Valve CoversL67 fuel railHead BoltsRocker BoltsS/C BoltsLIM BoltsL36 to L67 wiring harness adapter kitVac lines (I used 7/64" rubber hose)Coil pack bracket from a 97-98 GT/GTPS/C belt2 changes worth of oil/oil filters2 gallons of coolantGaskets:Head GasketsS/C gasketTB gasketLIM gasketValve Cover gasketsFuel rail o-rings Check out the postings at http://www.grandprix.net/and look to Ed Morad http://www.moradpartscompany.com/as an excellent source for used grand prix parts.
