Either the wire from the gauge to the sender is broken or the sender is bad.
all i can think of is neon and nova
I don't know how to date a specific Necchi machine but the Nova BU was made in the 1950's as far as the couple that I have owned. At least that's what the dates in the manuals were.

First of all, you spelled super wrong. You spelled it S-U-P-P-E-R, or supper (dinner). But let's get down to the point. A super nova is when a star gets old it shrinks into a white dwarf and then shoots past its normal size to become a red giant. It can't contain the large mass so it becomes unstable, blows up, and becomes a super nova or a black hole. Now if you're talking about a supper nova it probably means you ate a lot of dinner and threw up all over the place.
I have a 1974 nova and my has 15 gallon
Not without modification. The 1973 and 1974 body styles are unique in the Nova series.
