F = 35mm means the focal length of the lens is 35 millimeters. The focal length is the distance from the place where light enters the lens through to where the light rays converge in a point.
For most people, the number (35mm) simply indicates the size of the lens and what type of images you can expect to get with it. For example, in a 35mm SLR camera, the "normal lens" is 50mm. "Normal" simply means when you look through the viewfinder* the lens makes the perspective you see look natural. Nothing appears closer or farther away; nothing appears distorted.
Lenses with a focal length shorter than 50mm (35 mm, 20mm, etc.) are called "wide angle" lenses, because they allow the film (or sensor**) to record a wider angle of view than the normal lens. Lenses with a focal length longer than 50mm are called telephoto lenses (110 mm, 200 mm, etc), because they allow the film/sensor to record more of a close-up view.
This is an oversimplified explanation, but should give you a general idea of what f = 35 indicates.
* Assuming you're not looking through a rangefinder.
** Digital sensors that are less than full frame use a multiplier that varies based on sensor size (e.g., 1.5, 1.6), so a 35 mm focal length will give different results when used on a digital camera. This is just a note -- we'll save the full explanation for another question.
it is when you use 35 mm film it auto winds the film before pulling it out of the camera
$39 - 67.
You need to buy an adaptor. Make sure you specify exactly the type of lens and exactly the camera you want to attach it to. Don't forget that there will be a large increase in magnification, i.e. your 35mm lens will give more telephoto effect on a 16mm camera. It is unlikely that the automatic functions (aperture, focus) of the lens will be carried into the 16mm camera.
about £200-£400 is my guess
ignor the question to my questionI still need to know real answerI own a Silvestri T30 camera that accept Hasselblad ARC body lenses (rodenstock) and I need to know if the image circles of 35 mm and 45 mm ARC lenses will cover a rise of 35 mm on the silvestri 6 x 9 format?
If x equals 35, then -x equals -35.
1 times -35 equals -35
One stone equals 6.35 kilograms. A kilogram equals 2.2 lb.s, so one stone equals 13.97 pounds. 35 stone equals 488.95 lb.s. A stone is a measurement of mass used in the British Commenwealth.
No it equals 35

No. 35 divided by 8 equals 4.375 .35 divided by 5 equals 7 .
Factors of 35 are 1 and 35, 5 and 7. Multiples mean 1x35=35, 2x35=70. So, it depends on how many multiples are requested by the question.
0.35 equals 35% or 35/100
7 times 5 equals 35
34 plus 1 equals 35
the shape of the curve skewed is "right"
ok when you mean camera you mean the media 35 mm SLR digital cameras have comperable picture quality to slr cameras 10 mpix is just as good if not better than 35 mm some people feel that digital photography is inpersonal that you can take 400 pictures in one day when in the world of 35 mm you were only limited to 31 snap shots in some cases.
