actually, that's not the right answer (below) the nature of science means and idea that is made by using a previous idea to make it. say like Aristotle and ptolemy. Aristotle thought the solar system was geocentric and that the planets revolved iaround earth in perfect circles. later, ptolemy used his theory to make his own. he said that the solar system is geocentric (same as Aristotle) although, the planets do revolve earth, but, it also makes little circles while revolving around in the big circular path around earth. this is what the nature of science means.
