The human heart has four chambers.
The atria are the receiving chambers and the ventricles are the discharging chambers.
The right ventricle discharges into the lungs to oxygenate the blood.
The left ventricle discharges its blood toward the rest of the body via the aorta.
It's the BODY; blood in the Inferior Vena Cava goes to the lower body(Inferior end), and blood in the Superior Vena Cava goes to the head(Superior end). Hope this helps :) --Nyra711
hello the right side of the heart pumps blood where?
The aorta, which then splits out to your head, arms, torso, legs, etc. The right side pumps blood to your lungs to become oxygenated.
The right side of the heart sends blood out the pulmonary trunk towards to lungs.
It pumps oxygenated blood to the aorta for circulation to all of the tissues/cells of the body.
To the lungs
Lungs.
the left side has to pump blood to the rest of the body
The right side pumps deoxygenated blood and the left side pumps oxygenated blood.
left side because it needs to pump blood throughout the body whereas the right side only pumps blood to the lungs.
The right side of the heart pumps blood to the lungs, and the left side pumps blood to the rest of the body. The blood on the right side is deoxygenated and the blood on the left side is oxygenated.
Actually two chambers of the heart is more muscular (so basically one side of the heart) Because the one side of your heart only has to pump blood to the lungs were it gets oxyginated but the other side of the heart (more muscular side) has to pump the blood all the way to your toes, and every other organ in the human body! So it has too be more muscular too perform the necessary task that it is asked to do!
The left side of the heart pumps oxygenated blood out to the body.
The left side of a bird's heart pumps blood to the cells.
Cells
Blood. The right side pumps deoxygenated blood and the left pumps the oxygenated blood.
the left side has to pump blood to the rest of the body
The muscle of the left side of your heart is larger and thicker than the right one because the left part of your heart has to pump blood to your whole body, while the right part only has to pump blood to your lungs. More work needs bigger muscles.
The right side pumps deoxygenated blood and the left side pumps oxygenated blood.
The bulk of the heart rests on the Left side of this heart.
the left hand side of the heart has to pump the oxygenated blood, which its just received from the lungs, round the whole body - meaning it has to pump it a greater distance then the right side. the right side of the heart send pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs which is a short distance.
The left side. It have to pump blood in a higher pressure to all parts of the body
left side because it needs to pump blood throughout the body whereas the right side only pumps blood to the lungs.
the right side is bigger because it has to pump blood to the whole body
