It looks Freaken Awesome! That's what it looked like. I don't know how it looked like, but it had to be real heavy, and most of it's weight had to be at the tip. The tip had to be a sharp sledge hammer spike. I bet the metal was unlike any other, because the philistines had metal making technology. The sword of Goliath must have been a custom made weapon for him, and it must have had a long handle. With one swing he could take out 10 or more enemies out, and swing 3 times per second, you have a lot of death.
I don't think david could have lifted the sword of Goliath when he cut his head off. He must have dragged the sword's blade to Goliath's neck and stomped on the handle. I think when David grew up and became a warrior, he was able to use the sword's weight to his advantage. I don't know what happened to the sword after David took it from the temple's storage. He must have killed so many people with that Giant Sword, but he probably got tired of carrying that thing everywhere. Probably gave it to a friend, or burried it with a fallen warrior. David's story is better than Star Wars.
it looked liked a golden sword with a golden blade with a jeweled sheath that would grant immortality to the user . The blade was unbreakable
Excalibur.
King Arthur's sword was Excalibur.
Excalibur is a mythical sword, originally, pulled in a stone. The only true king was able to release it. It was the Arthur who took the sword out of stone and he was proclaimed the king.

the sword Excalibur is king Arthur's sword.
I'm not sure what Excalibur-type means, but Excalibur was the mythical King Arther's sword, so it probably means something like sharp as or sword like.
Excalibur was the sword owned by King Arthur.King Arthur
The sword in the stone and Excalibur are 2 different things. Merlin put the sword in the stone in the stone( which by pulling it out made Arthur King Arthur), and Excalibur was the sword that came later after the sword in the stone broke. Excalibur came from the Lady in the Lake.
Excalibur
Arthur asks Sir Bedivere to throw Excalibur into the lake. However, Sir Bedivere tries to deceive Arthur by hiding the sword twice before finally throwing it into the lake as instructed.
No, but there is some confusion about which sword Excalibur actually was. In some versions of the legend, Excalibur was the sword that Arthur drew from the stone. In other versions of the same legend, Excalibur was the sword given to King Arthur by the Lady of the Lake.
In the Arthurian legends, King Arthur owned the sword Excalibur, and formed the Knights of the Round Table in Camelot.
The sword, as far as I know, had no name. Excalibur is a totally different sword. Arthur got Excalibur soon after breaking the sword in the stone in battle.
