The CAT scan is computerized axial tomography. The words "axialized" and "tomographic" might be substituted in. A link can be found below. Oh, and we're moving away from that term now. It's just called a CT scan by many currently, and that's short for computerized tomography, as you probably guessed. A "Computerized Axial Tomographic" scan is a type of X-ray scan that is utilised for diagnostic purposes in a variety of health issues.

The medical term VQ scan means a combination of two different tests. These tests are called a ventilation scan and a perfusion scan and a both used for the purpose of testing the health of lungs.
