The occurence of a Solar Elcipse is caused by the relative orbits of the Earth and the Moon around Sun and the Earth respectively. Those orbits are caused by the Gravitational Forces of the Sun, Earth, and Moon. So I would have to say that Gravity is the Fundamental Force responsible for a solar eclipse.

A near-perfect alignment will result either in a solar eclipse, or in a lunar eclipse.
That is the time of the new moon. You wouldn't actually see it except during a solar eclipse.

Gravity is the force responsible for the formation of the solar system, the movement of objects within the solar system, and holding together stars and galaxies. It is a fundamental force of nature that acts over large distances and is essential for understanding the structure of the universe.
Solar energy is primarily a result of the electromagnetic force. The Sun releases energy through nuclear fusion processes in its core, where hydrogen atoms are converted into helium atoms, releasing light and heat. This electromagnetic radiation travels through space and reaches Earth as solar energy.
