Hello there! The Norwalk virus, currently known as the Norovirus or the winter vomiting disease, is the virus that can cause vomiting, diarrhoea, and stomach aches. It was named the Norwalk virus earlier because the first incident actually happened with a bunch of elementary school kids suffering from this virus and it happened in Norwalk, Ohio, in the United States. But people over there threw a fit over it because viruses are usually named after the places are normally found for easy remembering so it had it's changed by a bunch of virologists. Hope this helped! 😃
