Popcon art includes art that has elements of both pop art and conceptual art so long as its subject matter is one of these four subjects, or something related to them. In other words, there is a subject matter nexus. Popcon art would not be about a landscape or a still life, for example.
Popcon art is distinguished from patriotic art or art that is nostalgic about America or Americana.
