I wouldn't worry too much about a child, least of all about their blood pressure levels especially if they are young. Children's vital signs may fluctuate wildly but unless there is an underlying medical condition Ie.g. obesity) that would suggest blood pressure monitoring, I wouldn't bother personally.

The normal blood pressure measurement for a adult is 120/80. The more over weight you are, or the less you exercise, the higher that measurement can be. smoking also affects your blood pressure usually lowering it.

children can vary their blood pressure extremely. What is important is not a correct number. but the consistancy of the blood pressure. Children can get better or worse with a blink of an eye. In the medical field a child is anyone over the age of 2 but too young to have gone thru puberty.
