There are so many QH's that it is impossible to have an exact number. QH's are the most popular breed in America so there is no exact number The calculation is wright but walkers are more common. Then quarter horses then draft horses.

Should we keep breeding American Quarter Horses?

The AQHA is the largest breed registry in the world. In other words, the QH is the most popular horse, not just in America, but the whole world. All those people could not be wrong. The QH is smart, versatile, kind, and willing to try almost anything. They truly are amazing horses and as long as there is a demand, the breed will continue and grow.

If you breed a quarter horse and a paint can the foal be a registered AQHA or just APHA?

If its a purebred Paint and a Purebred QH, you should be able to register it with both associations. Hope this helps.

What horse should you breed with a quarter horse on howrse?

Depends on what you're aiming for really. If the quarter horse is purebred, then you can breed it with another purebred QH to get a purebred foal, or you can crossbreed with another breed.

Can a Thoroughbred crossed with a Quarter Horse enter a race?

No, Thoroughbreds come from Turks, Barbs and various Arabian sires and dams. The British had founded the breed as a hybrid of other fast breeds. The Thoroughbred racing industry in North America only allows 100% Thoroughbred bloodlines, parentage assured by DNA testing and registration. Quarter Horse racing is a separate industry. == == No it can't have any QH blood to run on the JC track. An Appendix QH can run with AQHA if registered though.
