What is a bachelor apartment?

I would like to say that it is the one bedroom apartment with all necessary things. A bachelor apartment is one that combines the bedroom, living room and kitchen in the one room unit. Although small in size, it's a good choice for someone who wants to avoid room mates and save money while living in a city or town. But many bachelor apartments share a basic layout: the single room combines the living room, kitchen and sleeping area. In some bachelor apartments, the kitchen may have a window partition to separate it partly from the rest of the room, but kitchen is common for two rooms in a bachelor apartment.

What is the basic unit of weight in the metric system?

Note that weight actually refers to force exerted due to the acceleration of gravity and the mass of an object. It is commonplace to see the terms weight and mass used interchangeably, though. The SI base unit of mass is the kilogram. The original metric system specified the gram as the base mass unit. The SI base unit of force, which technically would be the correct unit of weight is the Newton (kg*m/s2). The dyne is another 'metric' unit of force (g*cm/s2).

Why won't our central AC unit cool the living room and MSTR bedroom the same - the MSTR bedroom is consistently 5 degrees hotter than the living room and they both use the same AC unit?

The Master BR is most likely farther from the cooling unit than the living room is. I am also going to make the assumption that the thermostat is in the living room. The path of the cooled air will go from the cooling unit to the first vent (living room) where it will hit the thermostat. As the air continues to travel through the vents, it will become less cool until it reaches the master BR. When the air temperature in the livig room reaches the thermostat's cutoff level, the AC turns off no matter what the temperature the bedroom is. One fast solution is to close the vents in the living room a bit so that the air travels faster toward the bedroom, giving it less time to heat up. A more energy efficient solution (more work, but it will save money in the long run) is to properly insulate the ventilation ducts from the AC unit to both the living room and bedroom.
