From all the research I've been doing for my econ class. It seems that they're none. Although it is a different story if you are doing it for a government type deal, then they're are some regulations but i am unaware of those. Regulations that I do know of would be Trademark laws and copyright laws, but then again I'm not really sure if those would be considered regulations. Hope this helps a little!

Mining, particularly underground mining, is a dangerous business. Many miners are killed or injured every year in accidents (particularly in China). Additionally, mining is conducted to recover ore or aggregates. Processing ore to recover metal takes energy and creates lots of opportunities for pollution. Pollution from the recovery of metal from ore is a serious issue.
