My daughter unfortunately got suckered into joining and doing the Ipas showcase summer 2013. DO NOT DO IT. We paid so much money and all it is is a major, major competition to steal your money. Please listen to me. DO NOT DO IT. During the rehersal period of the program your coach will hype it up, make it sound like you are already a start but what you don't know is that thousands of kids from all over the country will be there and maybe 1 or 2 out of the whole competition will make it. The odds will be so against you. Once you get to the competition site, it is stressfull as hell and the judges do nit give a hoot. Trust me we saw it all and never again. If you are an aspiring actor/ress invest in acting classes. Look up castings for modeling or commercials. My daughter and all her friends from Ipas regret every moment spent. Don't say I didn't warn you. They start saying it will only cost $5,000.00 at first by the end you will have spent close to $9,000.00.
