If it's decent wood then why not stain it in a red reddish brown (if it suits your home and yard.) If not, then oil is the best. Latex is water-based so won't stand up as well. I work in a paint store, and I can assure that a quality acrylic latex will far outlast an oil based exterior paint. Oil based paints will fade and chalk outside in a matter of months. On wood they are also likely to crack due to inflexibility. Acrylic latex paint will hold their color much longer and are much more flexible than oil based paints. I recommend you use a 100% acrylic latex satin/ low sheen. To reply to the previous poster, Latex paint is actually waterbourne, meaning water is the solvent that dries out of the paint film. Once the product has cured, there will be no water left in the film. Plus acrylic products are much safer for the user, and easier to clean up. If you have any further questions, I recommend you go to a paint store. Not a home depot or lowes. Go to a paint store where the employees are trained to help you. Not someone from lawn and garden called over to help out.
In all the vessels I have ever been on there has always been a locker near anchor compartment right in bow. It's supposedly safer up there.
Many mothers and/or fathers of young children find it more productive, more cost-effective, and safer to keep their children with them while they work at home.
Any paint will adhere to lead based paint and seal it. Latex is the easiest. The lead will not bleed through and is not harmful as long as it is not flaking off. It is only harmful if a child chews on it and swallows it.
Yes, non-skid deck paint is designed to improve traction on surfaces, making them safer and reducing the risk of slips and falls. It typically contains textured additives that create a rough surface, enhancing grip even in wet conditions. However, the effectiveness can vary based on the quality of the paint, application method, and the surface it’s applied to, so it’s important to choose a reputable product and follow the manufacturer's instructions for the best results.

One of the better and safer ways to remove paint from ABS plastic is to use WD40. It dissolves paint on contact and it just wipes away. Oven cleaner also works in the same way.
There are plenty of safe birdhouses that your children are able to make. Any craft store like Joann's or Michael's offers pre-made birdhouses that your children can paint and decorate. Or, if you are looking to make one yourselves, you can use safer materials, such as cardboard. Also, there are plenty of free instructions here: http://www.birdhousevillages.com/freebirdhouseplans
It is generally safer to touch a surface with dry paint compared to wet paint. Wet paint can be messy and may transfer onto your skin or clothing, while dry paint is less likely to cause any issues. However, it is always best to avoid touching any paint unless necessary to prevent any potential hazards.
To stretch a point, they are slightly safer, yes- salt water has more buoyancy than fresh water, making "staying afloat" somewhat easier. That does NOT mean children can be unsupervised in a salt water pool.
Civilians (women and children) are often caught up in war. They are normally evacuated to safer areas as soon as possible.
