A picture style is a combination of formating effects applied to a picture.
its actually easy. in Microsoft paint: get the same picture but 1 in colored and 1 in black and white. then cut out your eyes in the B&W picture making the hole where your eyes were a pink or something not present in the picture. now copy the hole B&W picture and paste it over the colored 1. now ur colored eyes show thru the B&W. The Free Photoshop: Go to "www.picnik.com" and it is a online photo editor and then you make an account, upload a picture. now there is a tab up at the top called like edit or effects or somthing. click it and it takes you to a place with touch up, effects, letters. go under effects and find B&W. click it and your hole photo turns B&W. now there is a box hovering over your picture and it has 2 tabs effect, and original. click original and use the circle to color over your eyes erasing the black and white from your eyes.
A wordy picture is that when you draw a picture and there is something happening in your picture you have to explain what is happening in the picture.
When you are drawing an identical picture of another picture, you are replicating the original picture, hence the word replica. I hope that answers your question.
